Overview
In Part ONE of this course we explore techniques and ideas for how to record your vocals in a way that would make mixing as easy as it can be, and make your song sound big, full and present! A lead vocal track is the most important part of the mix, and getting it recorded well gets you significantly close to a great mix.
That can be especially challenging when we have to record at home. In Part TWO, we look at how we can achieve a decent vocal recording from home.
Part THREE is all about keeping our sessions organized, clean and tidy. That, too, can help you with not getting lost in your vocal productions.
Finally, at the end of each Part, I offer my special “Album Rec.” corner, where I recommend an album I think you should listen to, and how it relates with the lesson we’d just learned.
Here’s the song we’re working on today, in its entirety-
