Spotify is looking for enthusiastic students/recent graduates with a passion for music and an ambition to go far. This isn’t just any internship! Our paid internship program will give you the chance to gain in-depth knowledge of what it’s like to be a Spotify employee as well as get the opportunity to see the technology side of a fast growing company! Our summer internships will last for approx. 10 weeks this summer and start in the beginning of June.

As a Business Marketing Intern at Spotify, you will help define and activate the Spotify Advertising brand and go-to-market strategy to help businesses and agencies understand the unique opportunities that exist when advertising on Spotify. We partner with our sales teams to acquire, engage and retain our target customers. We craft messaging, marketing collateral, digital content, client workshops and thought-leadership. We develop global marketing campaigns and activate locally at industry events. You’ll have the opportunity to partner with top creative strategists to create performant Spotify campaigns and work with marketers across the globe to execute industry-leading communications. This summer will give you a fast-paced dive into the world of music and podcast advertising, and content marketing.  

What You’ll Do at Spotify

  • Support the Business Marketing team in the development of key messaging, creative and execution of campaigns
  • Work across internal and external agency/ production partners to create content and come up with new ways to reach businesses
  • Work closely with Spotify’s internal Advertising Business organization, including sales, to develop messaging, uncover audience insights and create sales collateral for publishers, advertisers and agencies
  • Project manage and run end-to-end processes and workflows from brief, conceptualization, delivery of assets, and execution of work
  • Work with our teams in EMEA, JAPAC, LATAM and North America to craft culturally- and locally-relevant materials for events and other marketing activations

Who You Are

  • You are pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a similar field
  • You have a graduation year date of 2025
  • You currently have valid work authorization to work in the country in which this role is based that will extend from June to August 2024
  • You are available from June to August 2024 to participate in the summer internship

  • This role will require you to work out of our New York City Office

The United States hourly rate for this position is $32 USD per hour plus a one time intern stipend of $2,253 USD and is overtime eligible. This rate may be modified in the future. The role is eligible for select benefits such as Paid Public Holidays, Free Spotify Premium, and Learning and Development Trainings.

Our paid summer internships last for approximately 10 weeks and start at the beginning of June. The last day to apply is March 15th 2024 at 9 AM ET.
