As a System Engineer at BAE Systems, you’ll be an integral part of the team, enabling the company to create capabilities that support the overall mission: “We protect those who protect us.” BAE Systems is seeking a team contributor in the field of Electronic Warfare (EW) systems to join a growing dynamic group of engineers developing leading-edge capabilities in Active and Passive Sensing. If you’re considering applying for a BAE Systems job, you’ll be responsible for supporting design, development, integration, implementation, testing, and verification/validation of EW systems across multiple business areas.
As a team engineer-level contributor, you will support technologies on next-generation military/commercial applications and deliver technical value in your role as a System Engineer. You’ll work on programs ranging from developing prototypes to full-rate production and sustainment of systems, offering you a fulfilling path in a BAE Systems career.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills (Bae System Career):
- U.S. Citizen with active Secret clearance
- BS in EE, Physics, Systems, or equivalent plus 2 years’ experience in the field
- Understanding of the applications of active and passive sensing in the Electronic Warfare (EW) field
- Understanding of automated language processing concepts and implementation strategies
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills as a System Engineer:
- RF theory and wireless communication experience
- Knowledge of Systems Engineering and life cycle processes stages (such as waterfall, spiral, agile/scrum, and Vee) and process milestone execution decision gating reviews
- Experience supporting inter and multidisciplinary teams consisting of mechanical, electrical, software, and systems engineers
Pay Information:
Full-Time Salary Range: $75,570 – $128,480
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
