Responsibilities

  • Maintain schedules for material requirements and availability to support production control in this Production Coordinator role.
  • Compile records regarding material quantity, cost, type, and status for manufacturing, shipping, and inventory.
  • Expedite the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between departments to align with production and shipping schedules.
  • Assist in identifying and addressing potential and actual material shortages.
  • Use knowledge of production, procurement, and engineering to notify appropriate personnel of potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Estimate production rates and times, logging expenditures, and possibly establishing operational sequences and lead times to meet shipping dates.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Requires a minimum of 8 years of experience and may require vocational or technical education/certification in addition to prior work experience.
  • Vocational training and/or certification may also be required.

Nice to Have

  • 15+ years of relevant experience in Medtronic careers
  • Experience with ERP systems and production planning software to manage material requirements and schedules effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure smooth production flow
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite for data analysis and task management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • APICS Certification (e.g., CPIM, CSCP)

  • Salary ranges for U.S. locations (USD): $56,400.00 – $84,600.00
  • Eligible for the Operations Incentive Plan (OIP)
  • Compensation and benefits are determined by U.S. locations, excluding Puerto Rico and specific areas in California. Local market compensation and benefits apply outside the U.S.
