Job Description

We are seeking a Product Designer to join our expanding design team. In this role, you will take a product, feature, or experience from ideation to production, leading vision, strategy, and execution on TIDAL’s most prominent surfaces: Home and Explore. Your work will directly impact how users discover and engage with music. If you’re passionate about the streaming industry and looking for tidal jobs, this role could launch your next career wave.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including other designers, researchers, writers, product managers, analysts, and engineers. As a high-craft Staff level Product Designer, you will lead our music discovery efforts and shape the experience of millions of users on TIDAL’s streaming platform.

You Will:

Drive the strategy and positioning of your product area.
Plan, scope, and create work that contributes to long-term objectives.
Communicate ideas and work to your direct team and other teams.
Lead the execution of your product area in its entirety.
Work on broad, impactful projects for the streaming team.
Define and refine the design language of our streaming product.
Scale designs across multiple platforms and surfaces.
Collaborate closely with product managers and developers.

This remote role is open to candidates located within the US Eastern or Central Time zones, ensuring smooth collaboration with colleagues across CEST zones. Qualifications

You have:

8+ years of professional design experience.
A passion for transforming complex problems into engaging, user-friendly solutions.
A high level of craft with meticulous attention to details in color, space, and typography.
Experience scaling designs across multiple platforms and working within design systems.
Proven ability to contribute to Design Systems.
Expertise in communicating design visions and presenting them to stakeholders and leadership.
Strong ability to drive impactful work and identify opportunities for growth in your product area.
Natural understanding of the end-to-end design process, from identifying customer needs to delivering exceptional experiences.
A portfolio showcasing your primary design work.
The ability to connect your designs to broader team or company initiatives.

Additional Information

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and compensation may vary depending on your location. The following ranges represent base salaries based on geographic zones:

Zone A: USD $189,000 – USD $283,600
Zone B: USD $179,600 – USD $269,400
Zone C: USD $170,100 – USD $255,100
Zone D: USD $160,700 – USD $241,100
