Anduril’s Mission Software Engineering team is seeking engineers who will be building, deploying, integrating, extending, and scaling Anduril’s software to deliver mission-critical capabilities to our customers. If you’re looking for jobs at Anduril, this team offers a challenging environment where you’ll solve complex technical challenges and own the end-to-end delivery of winning capabilities for Fury—our high-performance, multi-mission group 5 autonomous air vehicle (AAV). This role will also expose you to other ground-breaking projects, including Counter Intrusion, Joint All Domain Command & Control, and Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems. Collaborating with multiple teams, you will tackle problems involving networking, autonomy, systems integration, robotics, and more, while making pragmatic engineering tradeoffs. Your efforts will ensure that our software seamlessly achieves a variety of critical outcomes, contributing to the growth of anduril careers and jobs in defence.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong engineering background from industry or school, ideally in areas/fields such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
- 3+ years working with a variety of programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, Rust, Go, JavaScript, etc.
- Experience building software solutions involving significant amounts of data processing and analysis, a key skill for defense tech jobs.
- Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established code bases.
- A desire to work on critical software that has a real-world impact, a core component of anduril careers.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong background with a focus in Physics, Mathematics, and/or Motion Planning to inform modeling & simulation (M&S) and physical systems.
- Experience in developing and testing multi-agent autonomous systems and deploying in real-world environments.
- Feature and algorithm development with an understanding of behavior trees.
- Developing software/hardware for flight systems and safety-critical functionality.
- Experience with distributed communication networks and message standards.
- Knowledge of military systems and operational tactics, an asset for jobs in defence and teaching jobs in defence department.
US Salary Range
$138,000 – $252,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offers may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full-time offers; and are considered part of Anduril’s total compensation package.
