JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a full-time Label Coordinator to support our fast growing team. The right candidate will possess an unwavering attention to detail, embrace juggling multiple responsibilities, and be able to quickly pivot when necessary.
This is a demanding position requiring an independent, proactive, service-oriented self-starter who loves to problem solve. Applicants should take pride in their work, have a clear communication style, find joy in the details and always strive to “get it right” the first time. This role will provide opportunity for growth within the company.
JOB DUTIES
- Managing and maintaining the catalogue archive with meticulous filing and knowledge of project assets.
- Preparing music files for distribution to partner labels and DSP’s. Including, but not limited to, adding metadata, formatting files, verifying all assets are correct and present and adhere to best practise.
- Performing basic scheduling and PA tasks with strict attention to detail and follow-up e.g concise note-taking and tracking tasks in meetings and phone calls.
- Managing a calendar, and creating workflows to track project progress across set timelines, logging progress throughout.
- Handling executive expense reporting, label invoicing, and other internal accounting tasks.
- Confidently, professionally and courteously engaging internal and external team members, artists and writers through various means such as phone/video calls, email,Trello, Slack, Whatsapp, Messages, etc.
- Working hand in hand with A&R admin team to track and collect assets required for releases.
- Uploading, creating and scheduling social media posts.
- Performing regular audits across the catalogue including but not limited to: PRO’s; DSP’s; Dropbox archiving;
- Neighboring rights; songwriting spreadsheets.
- Maintaining and updating company websites and social media profiles.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Essential:
- Exceptional organisation with meticulous attention to detail. This is an absolute must.
- A desire to work closely with artists, songwriters and their teams, and is passionate about working in the music industry.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Great team working skills, and an independent mind.
- Ability to be discrete and maintain confidential information.
- A “get it done” attitude. Will go above and beyond.
- Understanding of how to prioritise and process a high volume of work and communicate efficiently with team members.
- A growth mindset and desire to continually learn and adapt to a fast changing industry.
PREFERABLE
- Familiarity with, or willingness to quickly learn, digital music tools such as: Spotify For Artists, Apple Music for Artists, YouTube Studio, TikTok, Instagram etc.
- Understanding of music publishing and copyright
- Familiarity with, or willingness to quickly learn Word/GDoc, Excel/Sheets, Photoshop, Keynote/Powerpoint, Slack, Trello, and the like. Whatever you don’t know you will be expected to learn.
- A naturally inquisitive approach to new technologies/ AI in relation to the tasks being carried out and optimising efficiency.
