The Fraud and Content Risk Management (FCRM) team is on a mission to protect Amazon Music Customers from fraud and content-related risks, and transform Amazon Music into the world’s most trusted streaming service. The team is responsible for detecting and controlling problematic content within our digital music catalog, such as copyright infringement, content policy violations, Spam and poor quality content, as well as protecting legitimate musicians and content creators by mitigating the risks associated with streaming manipulation.

We are seeking a highly motivated Fraud and Content Risk Specialist to join the team, in order to help us scale up our risk mitigation program and expand our charter.

Key job Responsibilities include:


– Conduct manual reviews of potentially problematic content flagged by our rules, and take necessary action to remove or suppress content which violates our policies.
– Investigate suspicious streaming patterns in order to identify and mitigate streaming manipulation.
– Make high judgement decisions on content takedowns or other enforcement actions
– Carry out deep dives to identify broader cohorts of risky content, and make recommendations for rule tuning and development.
– Where necessary, assist with incident management in response to any escalations raised to the FCRM team.
– Perform testing of new rules or other automated detection solutions
– Help develop and improve standard operating procedures for the team
– Perform QA to prevent both over and under-enforcement
– Develop subject matter expertise in industry best practice.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 3+ years of experience working in relevant industries such as law, risk management, investigations, project management, etc.
– Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
– Demonstrated ability to retrieve data and perform complex analysis to reach data driven decisions (e.g. Basic SQL competency).
– Extremely self motivated and trustworthy.
– Comfortable to work with ambiguity in a remote environment.
– Strong ownership and bias for action. You know what matters most to customers and act with urgency to deliver.
– High level of integrity and discretion to handle confidential information.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– SQL skills (Intermediate or better).
– Experience in threat intelligence research, such as investigating, researching, or analyzing online fraud actor TTPs (Tactics, Techniques and Procedures).
– Strong analytical skills and ability to dive deep to develop a nuanced understanding of your customers, and to create effective strategies.
– Strong collaboration skills. Proven ability to work across functions and across marketplaces to influence senior leaders.
